When I replaced the floor pan on driver's side in my 10/75, there were the 5 captive nuts shown in the photos below. Are those needed?

I've not welded them in yet, not sure they are all located correctly.

There should be a third for the jack mount (six, total, for the jack mount and tool bag strap).

Got it. Found these. I see what's missing.

Anyone have the measurements of the jack stand mount? I assume that these are hard to find. Not really eager to put a tool kit in the truck ATM but might as well get it right from the start.

Can't you template it from the mount?

The missing hole should be 3-5/32" inboard (center to center) of the existing front jack mount hole. But, your floor's been modified. The mount should straddle a ridge in the floor, like is shown in the photos of post #5. The rear bolt hole for the mount should be centered on that ridge.

I flipped the floor pan over after realizing I took the picture from the bottom. Once I had the proper orientation I can see that the bolt hole is not there because it’s on the edge where the welded seam is.

Either there was a hole there from rust or I cut through it when replacing that section and just didn’t notice the hole. There was actually about a 1 inch strip of additional material that I had to put in that ran the length of the floor pan. I don’t remember why now but for whatever reason it didn’t fit and I had to extend it.

You can see where the hole should be (blue) and the weld lines for the strip I replaced in red. That explains that.

The holes for the tool bag strap should also be centered on the raised portions.

The replacement floor pan has a different layout than the original. I could move them because I see the location of those is not as critical, but I'm going to choose to leave them where they are.

Thank you for the help!

I'm also putting the measurements in for the holes where I located them. Maybe this will help somebody in the future.

Take into account that you could probably scoot the three tool bag holes over a quarter of an inch and center them on the rib depending on which floor plan you have.

For my '71 FJ40 build I'm using '76 FJ40 parts for the tool bag strap clips and jack mount bracket. I sourced a slightly shorter OEM non-Land Cruiser tool bag strap/band from PartSouq so I'll change the location of the clip accordingly.

nice work where did you get the floor pan from? I will be changing mine soon. Did it come with transmission tunnel nuts ?
