Hello,

Took my 1HDFT up into the mountains recently about 9000ft, usually reside at sea level and it got a little upset, seeing if there are any temporary quick adjustments I can do next time I go. The truck runs great at sea level, once I got up to elevation i was getting some white smoke at low rpms, and it would also kind of stutter at the low rpms. Power wise it felt the same and responsiveness was virtually unchanged. First time I've taken up to elevation, so I was freaking out that I hurt something on the way up, as soon as I got down the mountain, it was back to normal.

I've read some threads about an @CycloSteve altitude compensator that came on certain models, don't travel to altitude enough to warrant something like that. Seeing if there are some quick adjustments to the pump that can be made once up there to limit the effects, and easily reversed.
