I'm tempted to ditch the rubber feet and just mount it directly to the the plate.

Otherwise to do it correctly, seems like you'd need three layers of rubber; top, middle and below the LCP plate. Thought about using bushings from the top of our radiators with that shouldered bolt, though that requires a decent sized hole being drilled through the Puma mounting legs...

Other idea was to use pieces of exhaust pipe mounting straps.

Or am I over thinking the amount of noise/vibration?

I think the rubber mounts are to protect the compressor. I'm sure the mount is plenty stout to take the vibration.

No, I know the mount is plenty strong, I was just thinking more of noise/vibration in the rest of the truck when operating.

I bolted thru the rubber feet, the vibration isolation when the pump was running was my reasoning. I'm sure it's not necessary the was it couldn't hurt either.
