OK, I am about to pull the trigger on an OME lift for the wife's FJ. The eventual plans will be for an aftermarket front bumper, winch, skids. No rear bumper planned. No towing planned. Mostly DD for my wife, but we want to be able to get about anywhere we want to go as is will be our recreational vehicle also. Tires will most likely be 285/70/17.

I have searched and from most accounts, it looks like the following will be the best all around setup.

OME
Front coil spring- 886
Front strut- N140S

Rear coil spring- 895
Rear shock N141

Before I spend the bones, does this sound like I have done my homework properly, or are there any other suggestions (would 885 be better for the front in regards to DD ride quality)?

I have looked at some kits that have a trim packer to compensate for lean. Any feedback on this?

Thanks in advance for any and all feedback.

The 886's work well with a front bumper and winch, but w/o the bumper and winch you will have a firm ride. I run the 896 rears and they are stiff. I think for a DD the 895's are a better choice. Looks like you've done your homework.
