According to my manual, the correct injection pump governor diaphragm oil is: ND Part # 995500-0140 or Bosch Part # OL-36V1.
The recommendation is 2 to 4 drops every 24000 km or 18 months
normal driving conditions and the same for severe conditions. Can show a pic of the filler screw if needed.

I checked out Brownbears thread and was able to find Neetsfoot Oil at an older Hardware Store. This gentleman told me he can still get it from his supplier and he has 2 half pint bottles available for $4.95 per bottle.
 
If everyone searches( Fiebings Neatsfoot Oil ). U can get it on the net for $10.50/per Gallon.Be super lucky to live long enough to use a quart LOL. It sounds like its great for leather diaphragms.:)

WTF is a Neat and how do they get the oil out of his foot:D

I seem to remember this oil has another name,Linseed perhaps??
