pto shifters (1 Viewer)

I did a search and found a thread on pto shifters by IDAVE in 03 but no pics are availble now on that tread. I am starting to think about what parts to look for in the pile that came with the fj45.

There is a hole in the hump on the drivers side, and I think I saw a flip lock somewere.

I was thinking of just using the cable like the ones I used on dump trucks ect. thinking that this one had some jerryrigged setup.

After seeing the diagram in SORs catolag I am wondering if I should be looking for 2 handles and why are there 2?

Could someone post a pick of their setup?

One handle, pivots on a piece that threads into the tranny on the left side of the trans. Link connects to the lever, below the pivot, and directly the pto box.


Not that complicated.

and why are there 2?

There was a PTO that installed where that six-bolt cone cover attaches on the rear of the t-case. That additional lever was for that PTO.
