Play nice children, your both right. The fronts are one way and the rear arm to frame bolt is opposite of the two front bolts.
Oh I wasn’t trying to argue his point, he is correct. Was just trying to help prevent people buying these great tools and using them without reading the manual. Undoing the wrong part of a bolt/but or trying to force undoing a reverse thread with that much grunt is going to cause problems.
Also, it’s worth soaking stuck fasteners with some sort of penetrant and leaving for a few hours rather than just going straight for the impact wrench...
 
To be clear, when I'm talking about a breaker bar, I mean something like this:

I have yet to find a small fastener stuck on so hard it could resist something like this. Again with M6 or below, I could probably put enough torque on by hand to break a fastener with this bar if it was really that stuck.
 
I bought a cheap HF impact and have been happy so far, it does the job I need it to do and it wasn't $$. It has been a true eye-opener and I'm kinda pisssed at myself for not getting one sooner.
