The touch up paint for our trucks is discontinued. If you give NAPA the factory color code, they will mix a spray on touch up paint. Its a perfect match and even has that metallic effect the factory paint has.

14.99 for a big can.

Depends. Most likely 045. However I believe their are two white codes. One with and one without clearcoat. But that may be a mud rumor. I know the more modern toyotas have clear coat white vs single stage. Ill put this here for the next 12 readers :D

Napa here can no longer put it in an aerosol can but can Mix the paint and sell you a cheapy pump and spray bottle. Or maybe its co2 powered but now you have to buy a pint (min custom mix) and a 12 dollar spray bottle

My NAPA still mixes it for spray cans, just got one for my side view mirror and it matches perfectly!!!

Came in handy today. Got too close with the pressure washer and it ripped some paint right off.

yeh pressure washing makes quick work of the grime but i hear its not so good to use due to damaging seals/ bushings anything with grease/ lube. im going to try you touch up suggestion thanks.

Does it have the clear coat with the paint or is it just the base color no clear coating?

I'm pretty sure it's just single stage..no clear needed, it looks pretty damn good

This isn't news. You can get any factory color in aerosol, touch up bottle, touch up pen, pints, quarts, gallons, whatever. I've ordered several colors from these guys with no issue. Looks like a 12oz aerosol can is $19.95, so NAPA has some good prices there

If its like the touch up paint from O'Riellys its an acrylic so the clear is sort of in the paint, its single stage but will match the two stage sheen when it dries. Its funny this was posted, I just posted one on O'reillys touch up paint earlier this week.

I understand that good paint stores and body shops can too.

Also, that not all NAPA franchises are created alike. Blew my mind when i heard about NAPA offering machine shop services. They don't do that here.

We have four NAPA's in town, and only one of them has a machine shop. Its a badass machine shop though. Must be all that national funding.

Great infos. Thanks
