PS idler pulley bearing

Does anyone have a bearing # (any brand) for the power steering idler pulley bearing on a 1988 BJ74 auto?

if you take it out you should find the number on it. any bearing supply can give you one for about $7

Thanks for the suggestion but I already did that before I posted the request. There is no # on the bearing. It may have worn off or it just didn't have one. Anyone else?

take it to commercial bearing or BC bearing in Calgary and they can measure it and give you the one you need..

The mini trucks use a 6204 bearing in their PS idler pulley, it might be worth a shot given how many parts are shared across vehicle lines:

SKF# 6204-RSJ
NSK# 6204V

Thanks, that's the route I will go if I can't find a turn key bearing. Stupid question time... How do you drill out the centre bushing? wouldn't it just spin when the drill bit makes contact?

The center bushing is steel not rubber, so pop it out, drill it out, and pop it in and you are good to go.

Found one at NAPA. Part# 6301-2ZJ. Kind of expensive @ $34.19 but much better than $306 for the complete assy from Toyota.
