I would like to do an exploratory run into the Chilliwack River Valley on Saturday March 18.

Any takers?
Anyone familiar with the area?

looks like you have some serious wheel rub on the rear there :D. that truck looks really nice by the way.

Bummer. Right in between my two nightshifts, so I will likely be resting a good portion of the day...unless we have room for me to take some time off. That seems few and far between these days though.

I may be up for this depending on
a)It being open to non-CC members
b)If I'm back from Edmonton by then

P.S. in regards to point A, do you guys have a 'member-from-away' thing like RMLCA?

I know Bruce was a paid up member for a while when he was in Calgary. I believe Charla is also a member? Bill...the membership guy would know for sure.

Either way...if you wanna come along...I don't think anyone is going to say no! I will be working nights...unless I can get some time off...so I will not be attending. That said, you have a couch if needed for the night.

marcin, Photoshopped tires?

I'm in if I get a new truck by then, my tires are too big right now, and I can't lift because my comdo is 6' 8" and my truck is 6' 7 3/4"

Wheeling postponed?

My wheeling idea for next week Sat got "pooh-poohed" at Thur's meeting owing to the current dumps of snow on the local mountains and the resultant lack of wheeling availability.

Thoughts for Sat?

...cancel it?
...postpone it?
...go anyways?

LETS DO THIS:bounce:

I just went tp weaver lake hale creek and Sunrise lke this past Sat. no problems with the snow the logging roads were well driven and the trails though snowy were fine. I don't think we should have any major problems and if so we can always turn around and try another trail

I can't believe that this got "poo-pooed" come on snow runs are the funnest the simplest trail becomes very challenging.

Due to lack of interest, I made other plans.

I am in Whistler next weekend, but have no plans yet for April 1.

so let's give it a try for April 1st then? I couldn't make it this weekend either, I am still nursing this damn flu bug, cough, sneeze, wheeze......:crybaby:

Hi Brad. Might have been more to do with Chilliwack Valley having many high roads, where falls off the edge would hurt. I would love to spend more time in that valley this year exploring...

How does a nice SPRING Wheeling run sound? Any takers for April 1st? Are the trails safer now that it hasn't snowed in awhile?
