Hey guys, through the winter I was pondering on turning the 68 FJ40 into a propane burner.

Well all of the inside time I had thinking about it I had bought everything propane under the sun. Well the more I think about it the more I realize IT JUST WON'T WORK.

Not for me anyway.

I plan to do too much highway driving and the fuelups is what make me worried. If any of you are wanting to vert to propane I am going to sell it all.

I thought I would post here first.

Brand names are Impco, and I have every thing from tanks, hose to the carb.


Mostly four barrel but I have one duel fuel mixer.

Hey, I just bought a diesel...... propane + diesel= two black streaks down my street.....

Actually, I want to make my own biodiesel....

At $4 a gallon I would make my own also.

New Prices

I have used and new 425 mixers, model E vap. and 30vff vac lockoff's.

The new set I am needing to get $400 for it.

The used sets all I want is $200.

I have a 43# forklift cylinder, a trunk mount LPG tank that holds 25 gal. and one that holds 50 gallon.

The 43# is brand new with double clamp mount for $200.

$200 for the 25 gal and $400 for the 50 gal.
