Even though I had the LX since new in 97, I didn't start monkeying with any kind of mods until 2008. Since then I have done many things to it but there has always been a HUGE project list that, for whatever reason, just seems to die on the vine. Some reasons:
• It could be from waiting on one project to make a decision on another.
• It could be that one project greatly impacts another.
• It could be that I over analyze the hell out of it.
• It could be because I wait for newer technology (think iPad vs. Mac Mini).
• It could be its so much money that my wife complains and I need her happy. (I just got her a 2014 IS-F Sport so this is becoming less of an issue)
• It could be that I am missing pieces.
• It could be that I have no researched enough into a particular mod that makes me comfortable enough to do it.
• It could be that I want to document it all to post on MUD but then it becomes a weekend project instead of a few hours so I put it off.
• It could be that its after store hours and I can't risk something happening and NOT having an auto parts store to go to.
• Etc etc etc.

So what I am going to do not is instead of listing the projects that I have finished, I want to detail the projects that I have yet to begin...for whatever reason. Please bear with me because the list is fairly big but I will post up as much detail as I can. The intent is to get the brain cogs turning to hopefully get feedback and other info so that I can go ahead and finally complete a given project. Of course this by no means a complete list, its just the list I currently have. What is not listed are things like armor, RTT and stuff that like. Those are obvious. I'm looking at projects:

Dude, you could have completed three or four of those by the time you wrote the list! :hmm:

Seriously, with a list like that, in addition to your completed and as of yet to be completed items, I doubt that you could ever complete it...

Well there are times I get into superman mode and I can crank through projects. Those times are far and few in between.

Just reading that is overwhelming, much less doing all that!!! Good luck.

List update above. New stuff...

Ron Davis radiator ordered. Moved up to three weeks. Coolant overflow tank being made into Aluminum, just need a spare. Cooland filter mount now being made. Cooler filter parts ordered. New fan clutch and 20k CST silicone ordered.

Did you ever do the fuel sub-tank? I never could put the $$ together when the orders from AU where going on.

No. I was traveling when it finally was shipping and I missed out by the time I returned. I suppose I should get my deposit back. Hmm.

What was the deposit on those and did you get the dual filler neck?

SOR has the filler necks in stock so I wasn't too worried. Deposit was something like $200/250. I don't remember the exact amount.

Ok the stock overflow tank and the stock power steering reservoir are being shipped to me. This means the overflow tank and bracket are going to Ron Davis Radiators so they can make me an aluminum version to go with the radiator. The power steering reservoir can now have the bracket removed from the canister then replicated so it can be either welded onto my new power steering reservoir with filter or have a new steel bracket get made. This were two big steps so I'm pretty stocked these two came together.

Updated the list in the first post. Everything in pink is new info. I have a couple free weekends coming up so I think I am going to try and get as much done as possible especially now that my leg has healed.

I know how you feel, NLXTACY. I need a new pine scented rear view mirror dangly thingy, been needing it for weeks. Just can't seem to get to Autozone. It's like we're brothas from another motha....

The important thing is you write it down. Projects like that need organization and planning. Putting pen to paper is really the first step in accomplishing your goal(s).

:flipoff2:

I had to put down the pen and paper as the list just grew too long, now I just start a project on the weekend, usually something I have on hand or can afford, and try to work thru it before Sunday night, my drawer system did take several weekends to finish though.

One more about to be checked off the list.
