Good to see all of you are ok. I hope the cops submitted the 85 year old to DMV to be retested to see if they are past their driving years.

As long as baby Girls ok ... The truck is replaceable

I read this entire amazing build thread just 2 weeks ago and it breaks my heart to see this accident. So glad to hear that you, your daughter, and your dog are okay and that matters most. Wishing you the best on the insurance settlement!

Glad ya'll are ok Gary! Sucks but ya'll are safe and that's what matters!

Holy s***! Glad you, your daughter and dog are okay!

Damn man that sucks bad! Glad you and your family are ok, now chop it and cage it best of luck.

Hey Gary,
That looks like it was a helluva ride. As with everyone here, I am really glad to hear that you and the family walked away from this healthy. This event reminds me that accidents happen, and the best we can hope for is that we have done all we can in these rigs (mall cruisers and rock crawlers alike) to prevent injury to those we love. I think your craftsmanship and attention to detail in this build have done just that. It's also shown me that, now that I've seen that picture, I think I want to put some sort of cage in the front half of my 60.

I'm also glad you rig has already made it back to your shop. Would be a shame to let that thing go to the yard. Worst case scenario, buy that salvage title back.

Again Gary, really glad to hear that you are all ok!

Sobering seeing things like this. Makes me think about my girls. Glad you guys were OK.

11K for a FJ60 lol

Glad you're ok Gary.

While Project X (the UZJ-45) is more along the lines of what I would love to have, the FJ62's have been growing on me in recent years, and I feel that Project X2 is the culmination of the best of the wagons. And Gary does SUPERB work. I wish my skills were 1/10th of what Gary can do.

Its heart breaking to see the truck wrecked, especially so soon after completion.

Not a 62.

I thought of you when I saw this. http://portland.craigslist.org/clk/cto/3606025216.html Not bad for $1995.

Sad to see a beautiful rig end that way, but I'm glad it saved your lives.
