I absolutely still have it. It was only once that someone offered enough dough to potentially own it. That fell through on his part. Anyway, I thought I would resurrect this thread for an news flash. The 45 is getting a new heart in the form of a 4.7 Toyota V8. This will change everything that could have been a negative on this truck. Radiator will now be in front where it belongs and it will have either a new fuel tank or a relocation of an 80-100 tank to under the truck. This means I will have a regular bed. Yippie....no more tossing the dog out.... Slee Off Road is going to help with the motor mounts since Joe does such beautiful work and I may finish the conversion there instead of at my shop. Stay tuned...

Very cool! If you need to mock anything up, before you scratch up your beautiful rig, you are welcome to put the 4.7 in my 80 first.

the late 90's 4.7 in the 100 series shares the same auto as the 80 series right? so the 4.7 is a bolt on then and the rest of the drivetrain stays untouched?

The tansmissions are not the same. They are 343s but the mounting is different.
