Hello All:

Its official the first installment of PROJECT 80 is in the May issue OFF-ROAD Magazine. This issue hits newsstands 3/21/06 and is Part 1 of 4, documenting the build up of a 1994 FZJ 80. I want to thank all the sponsors that donated their products and their time to make this happen. PROJECT 80 has already received industry attention from its presents at the OFF-ROAD EXPO in Pomona last year. PROJECT 80 was at TDS this last month and will be in an up coming issue of 4Wheel Drive & Sport Utility documenting TDS. I leave next week with PROJECT 80 to Death Valley and the staff of Four Wheeler for three days of exploring. We will see some additional exposure of PROJECT 80 in Four Wheeler documenting the Death Valley Trip. In addition FOUR WHEELER TV will do some type of coverage on PROJECT 80 at the MOAB Easter Jeep Safari in April. I am really excited for all the sponsors and venders that produce products for the FJ & FZJ 80 series vehicles. I will keep you all informed as vehicle coverage come to print and air times. Please help support PROJECT 80 and buy the May issue of OFF-ROAD Magazine, (shameless plug):D .

Sincerely,

Tare

Tare,

I can't wait to see the exposure. It is a great wagon. You have set the benchmark for my LX. Let me know if you need someone to "donate" a stock LX to build up. I am thinking something along the lines of "Lex with Flex"

Tare,

Where will you be in DV?

Look for 20+ 80's cruising through DV - 3/15-19!
We will cover Eureka Dunes, Steele Pass, Saline Valley, Racetrack, Teapot, Uhebebe, Hunter, Ballarat, South Park, Middle Park, Pleasant Canyon, Goller Wash, Mengel Pass, Striped Butte Valley, Warm Springs, and DV / Badlands.

Keep your eyes open for the landcruiser caravan

Joe

Woo-Hoo!!! I can't wait!

Thanks for the info.

I'm already subscribed! I can't wait for the new issue!

Joe:

I spoke with Ken Hanna this morning; he said you guys were going to be there. We arrive on Sunday mid day and leave on Tuesday at noon. From my conversation with Ken I believe we may just miss each other. I will defiantly keep my eyes out for you guys.
