Progress report - second battery tray installed (1 Viewer)

The bolts came in today and I just finished installing the battery tray on the passenger side.

Now next step for me is buying the battery.
Since this is going to be the second/auxilary battery and I don't have wires running to it yet, my understanding from previous posts I can try to fit in there Optima blue D31.

From my questions on a previous post I did not get a definitive answer whether I should get the D31 or get the smaller D34.

I was wondering if there is a trade off in getting the D31 beside the fact that it costs more.

Group 27's should fit fine (its what they're designed for).

I don't have first hand knowledge, but, IIRC, some have fit Group 31's with (unspecified) modifications.
