So I've tried various mounts including ram, magnetic etc but I have yet to be satisfied with the lack of wiggle for a tablet and I like using my tablet for GPS.

I have the factory grab handle and went off of it with a ram. Used a ram off the floor, used a ram off my console. The further a mount is from the tablet - the more the wiggle.

I'm not someone that will drill holes in my dash.

Thought about double sided 3m tape magnets and fabbing up a mount near my clock. Anyone done this?

I've successfully used Proclips for my other vehicles. ProClip USA | Car Phone Holders and Dashboard Phone Mounts

Pics?

yuup but its suitable for phone only and living in the an area that gets 95 degree days my ac vents are saviours

Be happy to hang off the sunroof switch assembly too

What’s wrong with the one ProClip makes for the LC? It looks like they have a holder and mount for $80.

Nice to see the ideas.

Got the cubby insert. My tablet wiggles. The inserts great but the weight of the tablet is too much for the plastic bezel.

The proclip blocks the vents and as I mentioned not suitable for tablet. They wiggle with cell phones and I had to mount foam on them to tighten them up

I have them in two cars

So looking for something solid, won't block the air bag, not interfere with my wife's knees, not block the rear view mirror.

Or better mount than ram and go back to floor.

I modified a Jotto mount to work as a single post that bolts through the floor and sets between the seat and the console. Been about 5 years zero vib, super solid, and wife/passenger approved.

Cool. Could I trouble you for a pic?

Phil how does it bolt down?

Seat mounts?

I had mine there when I attached it to the console. Reinforced with plate but the console has too much movement

I have a long bolt through the center of the base. Sets on top of the floor/seat beam bolts through the floor to a large plate under the truck. Stealth mounting but super solid as it goes through 3 levels of metal.

How about replacing your suspension bushings? :flipoff2:

What's up with the automatic near the handbrake? Is it necessary?
