With the rear off the ground, transmission in neutral, and clutch out, there can be enough drag/stickiness between the shaft and gears within the assembly to make them spin just a little bit?If the ring was somewhat stuck on the gear, you wouldn't be able to stop it with your hand.
Even in neutral the drive shaft can spin if the motor is turning. But that's just because of the viscosity of the fluid.
Because of this problem, I find it difficult to engage the four-wheel drive system when it is an electric clutch button for light, as well as for disengagementnormal. I took nearly the exact same video as you a few years back, here was the explanation:
