So he hit 50? I was looking at it, but It has 10 more days....

Yep hit 50 pretty quick, surprised me how fast actually

I got the big N-word from my wife :(

I know it says it's full here on mud, but if you're ready to purchase why not email Zach and beg for clemency?

You asked your wife? Huh.... I might have to sleep outside, but at least I'll have a nice platform on top of my 80s to sleep on.

I missed the cutoff by minutes. I've emailed him twice with no response. Just in case someone had dropped out. A reply would be nice but maybe he's getting slammed with emails right now.

I get communication is key, but the dude that does this on the side just got an order for 50 racks. And was pretty clearly stated the 50 slots avail for this GB was closed. :meh: Not to piss in anyone wheaties this morning, but....

I also dont think that he really read the emails as I asked about 2 racks and having someone pickup. He just emailed me the code and I ordered 2 racks. Shipping was reasonable, so I just had it shipped to my house.

It sucks to miss out. But anyone watching and can count could easily see this was going to close out bc of number of racks sold vs time.

I received a response from Zach last night. It took a few days but he replied. Keep in mind this is a part time side business for him. He has a full time job and a family, any of you who have these understand how little time one has left over at the end of the day.

On another note, any of you posters who already have this "production rack", would you mind posting up some detailed, close up pictures?
This & other threads have some pics of the "production rack" but they are far shots and most of the pics out on Mud are of the shorter height "prototype".

Also, if anyone knows how high the "production rack" sits above the rain gutter, can you please post up?
Thanks!

I saw this rack on a truck listed for sale on Craigslist down in Fort Myers Beach, FL. I have to say I like the way it looks on @Box Rocket truck a lot better. I wonder why they look like two different racks. Doesn't change the fact that this is still my favorite roof rack.

Edit:
1996 Toyota Land Cruiser $9000
1996 Toyota Land Cruiser

I have no affiliation with the seller, just happened to see this while on vacation. I'm only posting to show the rack.

I believe boxrocket's rack is a prototype and the production model is slightly higher ~1 inch.
