Hai, after sourcing for aftermarket turbo for 1HZ engine, may be it is worth to consider the feasibility of replacing the 1HZ with 1HD-T engine? This might be a stupid questions, but does anyone have any idea the price for a 1hd-t engine imported from japan? Other than than how much do a a442f auto tranny sell for? Any comment would be greatly appreciated.

The basic long motor without inj pump or turbo sell for around $6500 USD .
To finish the engine off would be more than the long motor cost if you used new parts.
Probably a whole lot cheaper to buy a used engine or a dead one and do a full rebuild.

first off where are you located.

Second why not turbo the 1hz? I bet unless you live in Japan the price will be much cheaper to turbo rather than replace the whole engine.
