I am looking at a red(maroon) 2013 lx570 with a tan interior. Not super liking the color...is this a negative in terms of resale or desirability?

That's my favorite color combo and the year I was looking at used (LX) before I bought new (LC). If I was in the market for a #2, I'd steal that one from you.
If you put black wheels on it the red looks good. This picture is on mud:

My 2008 is red but it had good records and low mileage 90k when I bought it last May. I rather have silver but didn't want to pass up a nice vehicle. Plus my 1999 is also red/maroon.
For the LX, that color combo is on the low end of the scale for desirability along with the costa azul blue. That doesn’t mean it’s not attractive because I think it is, but it will generally be a harder sale than white, silver or black. If you are trying to talk them down on price for color, it’s probably not going to get you too far, but a maroon one will sit on the market longer which is where you’re more likely to get a discount.
Anything but black or white was what I was looking for. Really like my “odd” color after living with it for a year.
