Pressure in the gas tank... (1 Viewer)

My '95 has a lot of pressure that builds up in the gas tank - everytime I get near empty and I go to fillup, all the vapors rush out in a great big swoosh - is this normal or an indication of some malfunction in the venting system!? Not sure what to search for on this.
