    Hi all,

Does anyone know the easiest way to press wheel bearings and oil seals into the rear axle of a 40, without the hammering.

    Thanks.

Just the hammering. I used a block of wood to get the them in, to do it straight and not beat on them. Then used a brass drift to finish them off.

I welded a 1/4 steel plate across the race of an old axle bearing race and voila, a SST!
