I’ve gotten a couple responses already just looking to see how you prepped your hard top before installing the headliner. @GA Architect mentioned using 3M Roloc disks. There’s some residual contact cement on it from a previous attempt but it’s fairly minor. Can I leave this or should it all come off?

I’m also contemplating just letting an upholstery shop do it but haven’t called for pricing yet.

FWIW: While you have your roof off and before you put it back on, I'd highly suggest you get a new Roof Drip Molding/Packing 63168-60011 (superseded to: 63168-90307). Have it on hand/in-stock to reinstall your roof.

City Racer LLC has one, but his site is off line for the week.

Thanks GA. Hoping it’s not a royal pain to line it all back up when it goes back on this coming fall.

Some toluene, a few rags, and a respirator would go a long way to getting it all off.
