Todd(fj40), Jordan(4runner), and me(fj60) went to Prentice Cooper today. It is located on top of Signal Mt. Most of the trails were pretty mild but we managed to have a good time anyway. We only had one problem on the run, Todd lost a differential drain plug. We ended up removing the fill plug to the drain plug spot, stuffed the hole full of gause, put a sticker over it, and then wrapped it all with an ace bandage. Worked perfect.

Enjoy the pics.

Get the  and  ready.... dis s***s good...

yes...I lost another drain plug, actually the same one I lost at Katemcy. Roger, remember the other day when I said I needed to tighten that front diff plug?...yeah well I kinda forgot to go back and do that. Also remember when I tossed the new drain plug in the box in my kitchen?...yep, forgot to pick that out and put it in the spare parts box in the rig...A comedy of errors to say the least...

So, as brian explained we McGyver'd it using pieces out of my fabulous medical bag. Switched the fill plug to the drain, added the 90W and stuffed 1 small guaze roll in the hole, 1 tegaderm to make it water proof, 1 borrowed Powertrax bumper sticker to seal it up, 1 wadded up Kerlex to provide pressure, and wrapped it up with an Ace wrap...would have preferred to use a Coban (sticks to itself), but gave it to Butch's wife after she fell on the rocks at Katemcy and hadn't replaced it, so we made do with what we had...:flipoff2: :princess:

A literal band-aid to get off the trail...got out with the hubs unlocked in 2L with the rear locker on...

I'm a target...blast away...Great pics Brian, Thanks!

Leave it to a medical professional, the rest of use would have used a piece of wood and duct tape.

Nice recovery Todd!

Great pics Brian!
