I must be making this way too difficult.

I got the map bulbs in fairly quickly by taking down the overhead unit. It went well.

I also easily got the license plate bulbs.

I have no idea how to accesss any of the other bulbs...

Does the plastic diffuser that covers the bulb simply pop out? Or do I need to access these other ways? Take down headliner? Remove door panel?

You guys made it sound easy, so I am assuming not...

Am I an idiot?

Thanks!

You are doing way too much work. You can just pry off the clear plastic pieces over the bulbs with a plastic pry tool. There are small indentions in the pieces where you stick in the pry tool. Bulbs are sometimes stubborn to come out. I used needle nose pliers to yank my bulbs. I haven't looked at the door lights but other members have done them. It sounds like the only one that's a real pain is the glove box light, which in my opinion is not worth the effort.

Agreed, the map lights (for me) were by far the hardest. If you don't have a pry tool, a small screwdriver with a bit of painters tape on the tip will also work. I, too, skipped the glove box light.

For mirrors, you have to pop the mirror glass off. You don't need tools, just reach behind.
Can you elaborate on this? Do you push towards the top of mirror so bottom of mirror pops off and the on hook toward the top like other Lexus models?

gently pry on the sides of the glass and it will pop off.

Just an FYI that I bought the Precision LED kit with plans to increase illumination in the cabin.
I took off the courtesy light on driver's door. It's a LED on circuit board, can't replace. Also popped the dome in the second row, it's also got two LED's mounted on board. Oh well. I returned the kit back to Precision and let them know it's not compatible with a 2018 LC (manufactured July 2018).

I'm doing the research on swapping in LEDs on my 2010 LX.

Is there any new information or is this still the way to go?

Bump... Hyjack.... Are these worth buying for a 14? Kind of expensive for led's

My 2016 interior was also non - replaceable LED. Precision needs to update their website.

I've been thinking about replacing the primary interior lights with Blue LEDs. Anyone gone that route? I like to stare at the stars and will go days with no lights at all ...no car lights, flashlights, nothing. I do sometimes take my wife along and she does likes to fuss with things and requires lights to do so. The blue lights seem to have less impact on my stargazing.

Pretty sure red is more common in applications that preserve night vision (took some astrophysics in college and spent time in the observatory).

I did not know that, so thanks! However, I would think the blue would be more pleasing to the eyes and mood then the red ...not sure though.

Echoing question above, is Precision still the way to go? Was looking for something a little cheaper but quality and safe.

I also note on their site they have an led strip for the rear hatch, that is plug n play? Seemed cool, anyone with photos?

Everything can be had for way cheaper - I spent $25 for the whole interior plus license plate and good LED reverse lights. The only thing that wasn't covered is the rear dome light LED panel light because I already had a couple lying around in a bin with all my electrical stuff. Details are in this post: Builds - mcgaskins' 2013 build thread - Palladium

I echo what he said ^
I spent $20 on a set of white LEDs for interior and a set of red LEDs for when I'm on camping/wheeling trips

I'm looking for LED vanity bulbs only. I have a 2016 so almost all the lights are now LED, where can you just get these lights?

Just ordered the standard kit with all the extras and reverse lights for $100.36 using a valentines day sale code.
