I've not posted here before, but it looks like a great community and valuable resource.
My question: Is anyone running Precision Gear's ring and pinion sets in an 80 series with factory electric lockers?
I ask because Toyota have different part numbers for stock front ring and pinion sets with and without lockers, but Precision don't. I spoke to Precision and they weren't aware of any difference but couldn't tell me for sure.
The Toyota sets come with the gears, bolts, bolt retainers, crush collar, oil seal and pinion nut & washer. I don't whether it is the gears that are different or one of the other included parts (bolt retainers maybe?). Or whether the gears are different but interchangeable.
I'm in the UK and don't want to pay shipping and import duty etc. for gears that might not work.
