I gave the 78 series prado a grill paint job.
Stripped down, primed and finished with matt black and metallic silver. Finished with full clear coat.
Originally deteriorating chrome paint with cracks in the corners.
Turned out good and its the start of the new paint theme.

Looks good. The Tundra grill is silver and took some hits. Thinking about going black. What kind of paint did you use?
 
Cheers Weedhopper, I live in Japan so I used a black matt finish paint brand from over here. Paint 4 light coats of color with proper dry time and you wont get the dreaded paint flakes. Even with matt finish, I always paint 2~3 clear coats to protect. The grill takes all the rocks and dirt so I would try to find the toughest paint you can find.
