BJ73 LX Brutus addition to the family has just arrived, but power windows are a no go, just wondered what likely culprit would be, the circuit breaker or the relay?

Oh yeah please excuse my ignorance, i cant for the life of me find the fuse box, is it hidden behind a kick panel or somthin?

Cheers and thanks

Yep ,kick panel on drivers side. I think that may have been my 1st tech question once upon a time:D

Low voltage caused by bad contacts inside the RH (drivers) at the master control is the most common problem.

But for electric windows to work properly, they need good voltage all the way back to the battery.
The earth strap at the engine end and the both the battery terminals need shiny metal

Yeah ended up being the master switch assy on the drivers door, now I'm scared, hate to think what Toyota want for one of these

Try Midland 4wd, Tony's Auto wreckers and Perth4x4 in that order for the cheapest price.
Find out if its the same switch as a 60 series.
