My 66 fj45 lwb presently has a manual Saginaw box... Now looking to go power. The present set-up has no real mods to the front cross member..and the mount could be cut off without and major boogering

The problem with the 60 box is you have to redo the factory shock mount as thats where the box wants to go. So either way you are going to have to modify something.

I have set up both and used both. Honestly they are about the same amount of work. In your case likely less for the sag box. The feel of a rebuilt sag box is nice but the 60 box feels like a Toyota.
Just my o2.
There is pretty detailed instal on my 45 with a 60 box in my Sig line (first link)
My other 45 (also in the Sig line) has a sag box but I have not finished that one.

maybe some pics of what you have. can't say I've seen a Saginaw setup that didn't make a hole in the front crossmember.

You're half way there to go Sag.Looks like you could use the relay you already have, possibly the other linkage to column, weld a new plate to accept PS box.I have both setups and IMHO Sag is far superior, cheaper and easier to find replacement for.:)

That is my best price. Everything is brand new I just don't have a use for it right now. I'm sure they'll be another 40 in the future
