The PO of my 76 put the Saginaw power steering upgrade on but the reservoir is plastic. I'm wanting to change the reswevoir to something a little more substantial ..... made out of metal. What is everyone using? Thanks!

I presume you are referring to a remote mounted res?

Summit, Jegs, Howe, all have lots of options depending on material preference and pocketbook depth.

Yes, it is a remote mounted reservoir.

Thanks! I wasn't seeing any listed on the cruiser sites.

I assume you're referring to the GM pump/reservoir. If so, JT Outfitters sells one, as does Man-a-free (see URLs below). I suspect all the regular Mud vendors would carry these as well; or be able to point you in the right direction -- e.g. Curt at Cruiser Outfitters, Georg at Valley Hybrids (Mud member orangefj45), Mark's Offroad, etc.

MAF Saginaw Power Steering Conversion Kits <-- this shows the entire kit, but I suspect they sell just the pump

You should be able to get a PS pump assembly from a mid 80's GMC Pickup that has the steel reservior.
I think the last time I got one, it was $23 for a reman'd unit from a local auto parts store.
