Power Steering Reservoir Cap Seepage

    I've now owned 3 cruisers with power steering (1 w/o) and on all three I've had seepage from the cap on the power steering reservoir that is evidenced by grimy goo all over the top of the reservoir (and some goo under it as well).

    I can't be the only one! What's the fix? New gasket? New cap?

    Don't tell me new reservoir.

    I'm far, far away from a leak-free engine compartment, but trying to get there, someday.
