Hi, new FJ62 owner here. I have recently acquired an 88 FJ62 and am enjoying reading about everyone's mods and seeing lots of cool examples of these. My son and I are working on it together and it will be his in a few short weeks. We sent off the steering gearbox to West Texas offroad and are rebuilding the PS pump. Threads we found on here helped a lot and everything has gone well - with the exception of leaving out the large snap ring and discovering that after pressing in the shaft seal. Doh! New seal kit on order -

So one thing I can't figure out is how to get out the part on the other side of the vane section. Is there a trick or do I just need to pull harder with a hook type tool? it's item "44324" in the diagram.
