How do I remove it? Should I use a drift and hammer it off? The nut is off BTW.

use a gear puller. It will require removal of the pump however. If I recall correctly, they are not that tight a fit.

There isn't a whole lot of room between the pulley and the radiator/shoud. Plus there isn't a lot of room to get a wrench on the pump's mount bolts located behind the pulley.

Just wiggle it off by hand in most cases (every one that I've messed with).

Did they have a woodruff key? Mine does and the SOB won't come off. Even hitting it with a hammer and drift. BTW, I hit it a little hard and f'd up the pulley. Anyone have an extra laying around? :D

i did the same once and ended up finding a nice pulley at the local salvage yard where you can pull off what you need for a few dollars. actually found the exact same power steering pump and setup on a Cressida.

How do you loosen the pulley bolt if the belt is already off (broken)?
It's driving me crazy.
I've tried to just go in the side and just take the pump off with the pulley attached but it's just stripping the :censor: bolt.
