Hi everyone,
I’m looking for hose #62 in this diagram from SOR. It goes from the steering box of my ‘83 to the hardline near the radiator. SOR is calling it the inlet hose. It’s 3/8 ID, can I just use regular return line from NAPA for this or does it have to be high pressure line? The hose I took off is so hard and crusty I can’t tell if it was just a regular power steering return line or not.

Thank you.

All the plumbing downhill of the steering gearbox is low pressure. Any hose that’s rated for power steering return (ATF) that’s the correct ID will work.

That’s what I figured, these weird clamps were just throwing me off. Thank you OSS saving me once again.
