My new, to me, 1982 pick up is bone stock and I'm keeping it that way. I've rebuilt the knuckles, brakes, hubs, center rod(relay rod) ends, and have adjusted the steering gear box to the max without binding. I still have a little too much play for my anal type A personality. Yes I would love to put on a 'high steer' with an IFS box but I would need to lift truck to accommodate the conversion. What rebuilt 'push/pull' gear boxes are good and which ones do I want to avoid? Oh yea the truck has 106,000 original miles!
