Power Locks - Intermittent Opperation on 2000 LX470

The power locks on my 2000 LX470 work 100% of the time...
Yet even though the solenoids "activate" and move the locks... often the locks don't close in full.
The locks might close 90% of the way.

I lubricated the mechanism of the front locks (from inside the door panels) yet the malfunction persists.
I am inclined to think the solenoids are not getting 100% power (amperage).

Same issue with vehicle on or off.

Any idea what I could check/try?

I think you hit it on the head. I still have to replace another one but I'm not exceptionally motivated to do so just yet. Pretty easy job though.
