Power from the map light module... (1 Viewer)

Hello all,

Has anyone tried to tap into this module for a small draw ? I'd like to get some power for an e-compass; ignition switched is preferred over constant powered.

Any tips are greatly appreciated!

The map light is constant. You could tap into the power for the sunroof motor, that is switched. It is also on a timer that retains power for about a minute after the ignition is turned off or until the driver's door is opened.
