I have a 97 Land Cruiser with high brake pedal pressure
I have checked the brake pads, bled system and replaced master cylinder

The brake booster checks out I believe ??
1. I pulled 15" of vacuum on the booster with hand vacuum pump and it holds vacuum for several minutes
2. I ran engine for a few minutes shut it off and removed the check valve and it was still holding vacuum

With vacuum being held by booster I can hit brakes once and lose all vacuum, I believe I read that the vacuum booster should hold enough reserve vacuum to apply the brakes several times before loosing all vacuum. This lets you still have brake if you engine dies

It was suggested that I check wheel bearings they are OK

Help

Thank you
