As part of a "revamp", instead of a restoration of my 2001 LC 100, I installed a brand new power antenna to replace the fixed antenna a previous owner had installed (to replace.. a broken power antenna).

Before the install, both the buttons in the dash to raise and lower the antenna triggered the antenna relay and I could hear a clicking sound from the relay under the glove compartment.

After the install, the power antenna raises and lowers when the radios is turned on and off.. BUT the buttons to raise and lower do not work. In fact, I can only hear a clicking from the relay when pushing the UP button. I don't know how long the fixed antenna was installed, am wondering if the relay could have gone bad ?

Thanks,
Jon Arnar

Will most likely have to probe around and check for power at the antenna and work your way back. Seeing as the antenna is new and working with the radio turning on, the relay or switch would be next in line.
