Got the bumper today while out on a trail ride with some new friends.

I'm shopping one now, is what it is. I wasn't stoked. A better spotter certainly would have helped prevent it to begin with.

My bumper is barely hanging on but after some gorilla glue and some bungee cords they’re ok, I’m afraid the next time I go wheeling they’re going to rip off for good. I was really aiming for a front bumper for my next mod but I might have to do the back first. Either that or try to get both at the same time which my wife would not like.

Yeah, do the back first. She's got a big bottom.

Just drive around for a while without the back bumper and bungee cords. ...Won't take long before the wife will be asking you to fix it. :p

Was under the rig today and noticed how banged up my BB gas tank skid got. Really glad I have them! Definitely would've been in trouble if I was running the factory skid. There is a pretty big dent and the curve doesn't show properly on camera.

If my cruiser fell on a rock in the woods, but my Bub Built steel skids prevented some damage, can I still post here.🙂
This happened today. I was supposed to be on top of this rock to miss another but then slid off, clunk. RF tire was off the ground just before this picture, I backed off the rock before taking the picture. Thank you, Rob and Bud Built for a quality product.

I really didn't think the rock I drove over should have done this. 20" wheels probably aren't the best for off roading, I'm on the hunt for rock warrior wheels now.

Left my Staun inflators on while I switched camp spots. Apparently one of them didn't like it and I was down to 0 psi in a hurry. Powertank took care of it VERY quickly. This was also the moment I realized the tire wasn't actually damaged, so that was a nice surprise.

Were you aired down or at normal PSI?

I saw some incredible tire deflection last week with folks aired down in the 15-20psi range. Twice I'm sure the rock would've shredded the tire, but it just wrinkled and deformed but bounced back.
