I am going to be installing a EGT/Boost/Trans Temp Gauges in my 81 soon.
I want to get some pictures of people set ups in their landcruisers. All models welcome!

Electricdyck thats something similiar to what i am thinking about

I have a procomp boost gauge and madman ems1 which is currently monitoring: volts, oil pressure, coolant temp/coolant loss alarm, and egt's...all have programmable alarms. I am using a "device holder" that I bought from Staples to hold the madman...works ok but jiggles a bit. I wanted the gauges up near the windshield to avoid having to take my eyes too far off the road.

the only thing i don't like about the mad max is you can't install a trans temp gauge for it...

Maybe you can adapt the oil temp probe for the tranny instead?
Might be worth an email to Dave at Roving Recovery...

All im doing for my mad man is getting an extra pressure sending unit and temp sender and running them through 2 -3 position switches. That way the unit in pressure mode will read oil or flick the switch and get boost, for temp one side is coolant then flick and you have trans temp.

Sunk into the vents.
A pain in the A$$ to do but I am really pleased with the results.

Check out the 3rd post. I made it myself using 2" ABS pipe and some plexiglass. I just wish that the dash wasn't cracked when I got it.

HDJ 81 specific. I have posted this before. The trans temp gauge has the wrong scale.
