Poll: What year is your 80?

OK, here we go again...

sorry folks, had to erase the previous one cuz I forgot to allow for multiple choices... My apologies if you already voted. Fortunately, some smart guy caught this early!

Oh, and if you have more than 1, then, errr...., well, good for you, you greedy shameless &^%!!

Sooo, to repeat a bit:

I did not find a similar post in a search so let's find out what's out there (good to know what year rig you could cannibalize from when broken down on the trail, no? :D )

I'll leave out the comments about the brainiacs on the 100 forum (from where I stole the idea) and about the Lexette :princess: owners hitting you with their purses when they are not included in polls... :D

Hopefully this time you can do multiple votes if you have more than one 80 type... somebody try to make sure this works, please...

(edit: do your multiple vote all at once before hitting the "vote now" button -if you have more than 1 80)

((edit of the edit: may not be possible to vote twice for the same year. Don't ask! Don't whine! Don't bitch! Go sell one or try to bribe somebody into voting for ya... Besides, why do you need 2 of the same year anyway? Live a bit more dangerously, dang it! :D :D :D :D ))

Looks like that would work, but I only have one 80... *sniff*

nothing that can't be remedied quickly if the wifey is not keeping a close eye on the checkbook or garage... :D

ooooo, the 97s are in the lead now....
smart owners!
:D

Is this just curiosity or is there a deeper reason?

RT, as I was saying in my earlier attempt at this thread, all the brainiacs are in the 100 forum, so *no* no deep reason for any of this... :D

well, OK, if you must, yes, so we know what's out there for newbs to agonize over when trying to decide what year to get... :D

E9999999999,

How do you enter the poll if you have 2 97 LC's or more than 1 LX?

-B-

It will be interesting to see how closely this parallels the % of 80's shipped into the US.
The figures I have indicate:
total 91-97 units: 74,730
91: 8,446 or 11.3%
92: 7,865 or 10.52%
93: 8,886 or 11.89%
94: 11,007 or 14.73%
95: 14,208 or 19.02%
96: 12,816 or 17.15%
97: 11,502 or 15.39%

I do not know if the 96-97 numbers include LX450.

well, yes, Dan, but remember there is a filter in play here: what we cruiserheads think is desirable to buy.
For example, I would say that most folks would take a 97 over a 91 if $ are not an issue. (of course, it is.)

eh, you can only vote 1x if you only have 1, OK! :D

funny production bump in 95. Airbags desire from soccermoms maybe?

but opposite for us, more in 94 than 95... airbag aversion maybe for cruiserheads?

97s still in the lead with 33% of total votes so far.

These are the discriminating buyers who want the best in an 80 and did not want a 100!

Poll flaw:
I have 2 97 LXs. Since I could only vote for 1 at a time, your poll count is officially 1 97 LX short in count. Since I already voted, I can't vote again.

I could do that, but I won't.

Worlds would collide...and we can't have that.
