So I can feel like one of the gang and learn more about guns. Other than that, I like having the 3rd row of seats and the ability to pull, haul, carry whatever I want in any weather....which right now is RAIN RAIN RAIN

Oh yeah and in that picture I was anchoring frankenstein while frankenstein was winching velveta. In the end I had to winch both of them up though. It was a lot of fun. And yes if there are rocks in Florida I am positive Al will find em.

Interesting that Exped for the sake of the trip seems to cream all other choices, even wheeling to get somewhere to do fun stuff... So this is not a rockcrawling site after all...
Seems like most of us are explorers at heart then... There is still hope for humanity! Or are we a small breed?
But no wonder we are spending so much time, effort, and $ on the truck since the driving around is the main practical part of Exped wheeling (even if the scenery and exploration may be the main objective)...

I recently bought a 94 FZJ80. I've wanted one of these rigs for years but could not justify the price and didn't really need another vehicle since I already have a Toyota pickup for rockcrawling, a rally car for speedy fun, and an old beater to drive around town.
I took a job in Hawaii though and can really only justify shipping one vehicle over here, thus the FZJ80. It is a comfortable driver and I anticipate that it will take me everywhere I need to go on the big island. I do photography as a hobby and outfit the rig with a Tuffy drawer for my expensive camera gear, as well as an OME lift and some 33" MT/Rs to add to the capability. So far I am really impressed by the combination of refinement and capabilty that these vehicles possess.

I'm hoping to replace the 80 on the trails with the piggy, but it's gonna have to be pretty darn good to keep me from taking the old girl out on the rocks.

I chose other because I don't really do all that technical of rock crawling, URE's is only so technical...I like mud..and I love water for some reason, the deeper the better...so I guess If I could pick 2, I'd pick mud and rocks, but I can't so I'm an other.
Oh, its a little hard to get off the trail when have blown a rear drive shaft....somtimes you have to pull cable.
Oh man, I don't know about North Florida, but South Florida that damn Limerock will eat your lunch and send you home hungry with flats.
Although I chose Expedition, I use my trucks all the time at work. The freshly dug limerock will cut through many-a-ply side walls with no issue what-so-ever even 12 ply. It appears to be relatively smooth rock where Lowertide is, is that the case?
FYI: I build my trucks in order to make international expeditions (mostly to central/south america), and one day I'll make the Tierra del Fuego to Alaska ride in a Cruiser. Unless I can get it done in my G-Wagon which would probably be more comfortable.

I put getting to rec places(beachrunning and surf fishin on OBX comes to mind), but I'd love to do all of em but rockcrawl. Too many years of doin my own bodywork to wanna tear up the 
...... only had it two months, so I cant tear it up until I get done baselining everythin......
Mine does all its intended to do for now, even in stock form. DD to work, work trips throughout NC, VA and TN...with some GPS/laptop induced side road diversions of course near tellico (I'm amazed Hertz never did ask why the last Grand Cherokee I rented came back covered in mud inside n out, complete with a clay colored waterline that lined up with the plastic body cladding ), It will be a great foul weather vehicle for work trips and takin the MILF to the grocery store in the snow. It also handles taking the family and extended family tourin the mtns, hauling my RC airplanes around, towin a trailer full of kayaks and canoes, taking the parakeet and 90 soccer balls to soccer practice, and bein a full fledged MILF CRUISER!!! 
I think I'll keep this one relatively stock, and when my wife's car craps out,(or is paid off next spring), I'll get a 93-96 locked to build out as a beach/trail rig. That will get the lift, nice meats,dual batts, roof rack w/awning and kayak mount, front and rear receivers, ARB, etc...............
Maybe even a 91-93, or even a 60 that would be ripe for a biodiesel conversion....get a business license as a grease removal specialist company, and have KFC, Mcdonger's and the Fair pay me to fuel up my rig.....does the exhaust smell like diesel or funnel cakes?????

I think that your options are not setup correctly. You can enjoy Rock Crawling as much as Expedition Style wheeling. They are do not exclude eachother. Maybe rock crawling has a louder voice because the pics are more dramatic.
I like to get up some rocks just as much as I like to be out in the middle of nowhere.

problems solved daily...
My idea of Expedition wheeling might involve some technical rock crawling to get from point A to point B.
The multiple guess option might've been nice for this one.

i choosed other because i like to go exploring, but i also like to go off roading (purposely) in mud, water, and climbing whatever comes my way.
