I was just given a used Rinnai 50 litre indoor/outdoor electric water heater. So I've got to do something with it, and I'm thinking an outdoor soaking tub.
Here are the specs: http://www.rinnai.com.au/storage_hw/default.asp?pg=specs
It rarely gets below 60 here, even at night, and ten months a year it rarely gets below 75, and six months a year it doesn't get below 85.
Can I just hook this up to the power and the water on the deck, and have it be the hot water source for an outdoor bathtub - probably a wooden Japanese-style soaking tub? Can I rig the plumbing so it reheats water in the tub that has cooled down? I'd imagine that needs some sort of pump, maybe filters?
Also - does anybody know of any plans for a Japanese soaking tub? Everyone I have contacted will sell me the tub for assembly, but not the plans (understandably)...
Cheers
