They aren't. I've never seen so much backlash at such a simple question.I never knew this forum was so pro-OEM wheels. Plenty of people running aftermarket and lots of different options. Pick what you like that fits and run them.

If the OP likes the wheels better than OEM, install them. The recommended wheel width for a 315/75R16 is 8" to 10", however there have been lots of folks that have installed 35's and even 37's on 7" or 7.5" wheels. Some tire shops won't do it for liability reasons.
