So where did you get the new torque converter from!! IS it OEM or was it cut open and and fixed and
then welded back together?

Torque converter was rebuilt (cut open, guts replaced and welded back together). by Converter Man Limited, "exceeding OEM spec". Its the biggest, most reputable torque converter shop in Canada. I have receipts to prove it.
