I have slight up and down play in the steering column. The tilt feature is locked in and there are really no issues steering or anything, I just don't like the play. There are several old threads on this but none of them contain a solution and they are all "closed" - didn't even know that was an option on Mud. Anyone have a solution to this annoyance? I had the same issue... If you remove the plastic cover on the between the column and the dash, you will see a spring used to lock the adjustment lever.. Thats your culrit right there, swap it out and you're good to go.
