planning on making myself a rack.
i'm going with aluminum. pretty sure i'm going the full length of the roof.
not sure of the wideth, seems like 54'' is a standard number.

just looking to see what other people have done themselves.

Here's a link to one that I made. However, I just replaced it with an African Outbak.. My little 110V mig wasn't very proficient at welding aluminum (neither am I). Anyway, this post has some info my my home-made rack:

Brian here is the mounting brackets I used on my aluminum rack. same thing that SOR is peddling and about 1/2 the price of SOR...probably more than that once you get hosed by their shipping....I'll post up a pick of the rack in a min or two. It's on the red 62 that I used to haul away that roll cage on I bought from you....I bought the square tubing at Metal Supermarkets (off Cottman Ave. in Philly) and had it bent at some race car fab shop @Phoenixville brought it home and welded it all up.
