had a question as I was replacing my tie rod/drag link ends: would a modified Pitman arm with a dropped arm be helpful in reducing some of the wear & tear to my linkage parts by returning the geometry of the linkage back the factory angles, correcting for the increased angles that resulted from the suspension lift?

kind of seems logical that it would, but haven't heard of anyone doing this with an OME 2.5" lift. anybody tried this, heard anything to this regard, or have any opinions about it?

just curious,

oh yeah, i'm running 33's with that lift....

The factory arm is already pretty "dropped" INMO. I thought that the reason for going with a drop pitman was to help alleviate bump steer?

When I ran my 2.5 ome for 75k it didn't seem necessary to drop the pitman. No extra wear and tear.
But now I have a 4 inch lift and definately need to drop the pitman.
Does anyone know who carries them?

get hy-steer, instead of dropping the arm.....then agian on sua with a 4 inch lift, is all the junk still above the spring packs?

Yeh, all the junk is above the springs.
Who do you like for hi-steer componants?
